World Sound Healing Day Tibetan Chanting with Lama Tashi
In honor of World Sound Healing Day 2022, Lama Tashi will lead us in prayers for personal and planetary healing, focusing on the energies of the Avalokitesvara, Medicine Buddha and Tara. This event will take place at approximately 8:30 am on Feb. 14th in India – which will be 7:00 pm Pacific Time on February 13th.
Geshe Ngawang Tashi Bapu, well known as Lama Tashi, is President of the Siddhartha Foundation. He has been Principal Chant Master of the Dalai Lama’s Drepung Loseling Monastery and served as Director of the Central Institute of Himalayan Culture Studies, in India.
Lama Tashi’s Tibetan “Deep Voice” is world renowned. He was the first Tibetan Buddhist monk to be nominated for a Grammy with his recording of “Tibetan Master Chants”.
He is a renowned scholar and speaker on subjects regarding compassion, wisdom and other intricate areas of Tibetan Buddhist philosophy, yoga, and meditation.
For those interested, in the very near future, Lama Tashi will be leading an Online Course in Tibetan Secrets of Happiness.
